Job Overview
Excellent Spirit Tutors is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support strategic decision-making across academic and operational functions. This fully remote role is ideal for candidates who excel at transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive academic performance, operational efficiency, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from internal and external sources
- Build reports, dashboards, and insightful visualizations
- Track student performance, enrollment, and academic outcomes
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve operations
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities using statistical tools
- Collaborate with multiple departments: Finance, HR, Operations, and Academics
- Maintain structured documentation and datasets
- Present findings clearly to leadership
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance
- Recommend automation and data process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting
- Strong proficiency in Excel and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio)
- Experience with SQL, Python, or R
- Strong understanding of statistics, data modeling, and visualization
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in education, consulting, or service-based organizations
- Knowledge of CRM or data management platforms
- Data analytics or visualization certifications
