Role Overview: SEO Team Lead (Remote)
The SEO Team Lead will own and execute SEO strategies for multiple B2C online casino brands, ensuring maximum organic visibility, sustainable rankings, and traffic growth in competitive iGaming markets. Reporting to the Head of SEO, you will lead a team of SEO specialists, collaborate across departments, and drive results through technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and SERP performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop tailored SEO strategies for casino brands in multiple regions.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap audits.
- Drive content strategies for acquisition, retention, and long-tail keyword growth.
- Manage on-page, off-page, and technical SEO roadmaps.
Technical SEO Leadership
- Conduct site audits focusing on crawlability, indexation, and Core Web Vitals.
- Partner with developers on migrations, mobile-first indexing, structured data, and site speed optimization.
- Ensure SEO best practices across CMS and custom platforms.
Team Management & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor SEO specialists, setting clear goals and KPIs.
- Work closely with content, design, CRM, paid media, and product teams.
- Deliver data-driven performance reports to senior leadership.
Performance Monitoring & Compliance
- Track rankings, traffic, and SERP features using GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
- Analyze KPIs including organic sessions, conversions, and backlink growth.
- Maintain compliance with iGaming regulatory and responsible gaming standards.
Skills & Experience
- Proven SEO leadership experience in iGaming, online casino, or sportsbook.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge (JavaScript SEO, schema markup, crawl budgets).
- Expertise in multilingual SEO, hreflang, geo-targeting, and regulated markets.
- Familiarity with affiliate SEO, bonus content strategies, and SERP monetization.
- Experience with SEO tools: Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Looker, Ahrefs, SEMrush.
