A lot of brilliant people I talk to have incredible, world-changing ideas. But they are stuck. They are waiting for funding, waiting for the right co-founder, or waiting for the economy to settle down.

Here is the raw truth I’ve learned from my time here on earth: the perfect time does not exist.

If you sit in your driveway waiting for every single traffic light in the city to turn green before you drive, you will never leave your house.

A mentor once told me,

Great men don’t wait for things to happen. They make things happen.

Impact and opportunity do not come to those who wait. They move towards you only when you are in motion. When you move, you collide with favour, capital, and the right people.

After all, nature favours the bold.

So, whatever you are putting off today because the conditions aren’t perfect, stop waiting. Take one tiny, imperfect step toward it. Buy the domain name. Make that terrifying phone call. Write the first draft.

Action creates momentum, and momentum builds fortunes.
