Create a Successful Mental Picture of Yourself

If you want to find your own clarity or purpose, there are three things you need to do.

1) Define what success entails for you.

2) Produce an intense mental image of you as a winner.

3) Clear up your personal values.

When you decide what success means to you, create a clear mental image of yourself as successful.

This picture ought to be as graphic as you are able to you make it.

When I was twenty, I imagined myself as a successful speaker, coach, consultant, and writer.

Then, I worked from home, coming up with programs to present to clients.

I had these intense mental images of me speaking in front of vast audiences at sales meetings. I pictured myself signing book deals.

I also saw myself on planes, traveling for my speaking, training, and consulting gigs.

All thanks to God!

What’s your dream? Can you imagine what it looks like?

You should take some time for yourself. Ask and answer yourself these three things:

Where do I wish to be ten, twenty, and thirty years from today? How will it look and feel when I get there? How will my life be?

If you have any more questions, ask them to visualize your success better.

This isn’t day dreaming. It’s true work. You’re imagining how your future will be.

Carry this vibe with you as you do your thing. Ask yourself now and then if what you did today brought you closer to your idea of success.

That’s how you keep your dream alive and reach your goal.

The point here is simple. Successful people define what success means to them. Then they make a strong and crystal-clear image of their success.

They use this mental image to stay inspired and keep striving for what they want in their lives and careers.

Imagining your success isn’t just daydreaming.

It’s about putting in the work to design your future, so you can make it happen.
