Iran is keeping their airspace closed because they are expecting Israel to retaliate after the attack.
The aviation authority said flights won’t resume until 5 am on Thursday for security purposes, according to ISNA.
Iran shut down the airspace over Tehran and cancelled all flights until Wednesday morning because they fired a bunch of missiles at Israel on Tuesday night.
The attack, according to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was a response to the assassinations of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah, and an Iranian general.
According to Iran, the attack targeted three Israeli air bases and the headquarters of Mossad, the Israeli foreign intelligence service.
