The Mission
When the team at Nigeria Context Analysis Team (NCAT) reached out to me, they had a clear and ambitious mission: strengthen data-driven governance in Nigeria.
They were already experts, had wonderful insights and a big audience. What about their online platform? It lacked the depth, security, and professionalism needed to impress policymakers, researchers, and the public.
That’s where Oluboba stepped in to make their vision a reality online.
Web Design: Clarity, Trust, and Authority
First, we made a fresh, modern website that establishes Nigeria Context Analysis Team (NCAT)as a credible authority on public sector analysis. Here’s what I focused on:
- A clean, data-focused design that’s simple to navigate.
- Use bold headings and organize it so it’s easy to skim.
- Stakeholders can view reports on their phones.
- Safe infrastructure to protect all data.
- So, what’s the outcome? A clean site that’s easy to navigate and feels trustworthy.
User Portal: Secure Access, Seamless Experience
One of the core features of the project was a custom user portal. Nigeria Context Analysis Team (NCAT) needed a space where vetted users could:
- Look at the internal reports and publications.
- Join in on data discussions.
- You can download those research materials, but they’re restricted.
I built a user-friendly, secure site with logins, permissions, and a constantly updated dashboard. It’s smooth and professional, and it feels that way.
Email Marketing: Connection with Purpose
Once everything was live, we had to figure out how to keep users engaged. My email plan looked like this:
- Welcome sequences for new subscribers
- Monthly updates on new reports and data sets
- Event announcements and webinar invites
- Segmentation for analysts, partners, and stakeholders
Each email is clean, easy to read, and pushes you to do something; like reading a report or joining a forum.
“We needed more than a website; we needed a system. Oluboba helped us build that system, and it’s already transforming the way we engage with the public.”
— Project Lead, Nigeria Analysis Unit
The Outcome
Since launch:
- Registered users increased by 36×
- Email open rates now average 47%
- Visitors spend more time exploring resources and reports
- NAU now has a central hub to boost their community and policy influence.
Final Thoughts
We didn’t just build a website for Nigeria Context Analysis Team (NCAT); we built better systems for them. It was great being part of their work to improve data access and use in Nigeria.
At Oluboba, I make websites that do more than just look good; they connect people, share information, and spark change.
