We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Business Operations Specialist / Associate to join our dynamic global team.
This is a true generalist role perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on variety and enjoys supporting multiple business functions, including HR, finance, compliance, and customer support.
About the Role
As a Business Operations Specialist, you’ll be a key member of our global operations team, ensuring our startup clients run smoothly. You’ll work closely with Chief Chore Officers (CCOs) fractional COOs/Chiefs of Staff supporting 5–10 startup founders and CEOs with tactical operations and back-office excellence.
Your responsibilities will span:

People Operations (HR): Handle onboarding, maintain HR records, and support employee inquiries.

Financial Administration: Assist with invoices, expenses, and financial compliance.

Compliance: Maintain accurate records and support compliance initiatives.

Customer Support: Serve as a key contact for internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues with empathy and professionalism.
Examples of Your Work

Managing payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and compliance tasks.

Coordinating with accountants and legal teams on key deliverables (e.g., tax filings, NDAs).

Researching and problem-solving unique back-office challenges.

Contributing to our knowledge base and blogs helping build smarter startups through shared wisdom.
What We’re Looking For

2–6+ years in operations, administration, HR, finance, or compliance.

Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A passion for process improvement, standardization, and efficiency.

Comfort working U.S. business hours.

Familiarity with tools like Slack, Notion, Gmail, Asana, or ClickUp (a plus).

Understanding of basic bookkeeping or startup finance (a plus).

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay starting at $10,200 USD/year, with up to 30% in quarterly bonuses.
