Altruism means caring about others and expecting nothing in return. How does altruism become a powerful force of passion?

But after years of ruthless ambition, they often treasure the freedom to be themselves and support others. That helping others is more fulfilling than their well-paying job.
While they used to care about physical prosperity. Now it’s all about the soul.
Many of these people are volunteering with social or environmental organizations.
Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.” —Martin Luther King, Jr.
Bill Gates from Microsoft built a massive empire by playing dirty, often getting caught up in lawsuits over monopolistic practices.
But then he started this massive foundation that gives out tons of money to fight diseases and improve education.
When we are young, we are all about success. But as we get older, helping others becomes our chief priority.
This is likely because we understand remarkable individuals are remembered for their impact on society rather than their financial success.
It’s why we strive to leave a legacy, something to be remembered for.
Trust me, no volunteer or social worker has gone hungry.
Serving the less fortunate won’t make you rich, but it’s incredibly fulfilling.
I will end with this quote from Mother Theresa that says, “if you can’t feed a hundred people, just feed one”.
