The All-Progressives Congress (APC) candidates have been declared winners of all 21 Local government Chairmen and 239 ward councilors in Kogi State.
According to the Chairman of the Commission, Nda Eri, the All Progressive Congress swept the Kogi State election, with 21 local government Chairman seats and 239 wards councillors.
Earlier, Eri observed that the election process was highly transparent and the conduct was peaceful, fair, and credible.
The Chairman also praised the electorates in Kogi State for showing up in force to cast their vote.
Mr. Joseph Aremu, the spokesman of the Forum of the Chairmen of all State Independent Electoral Commission (SEIEC), praised the KOSIEC chairman for a job well done in monitoring the council election in Kogi State.
Aremu commended the electorate for a peaceful council election without any violence in the entire state.
