President Bola Tinubu told Nigerians to choose between N1,000 per litre of petrol or N200 per Standard Cubic Meter of CNG.
During a meeting at the State House in Abuja, Tinubu stated this while talking to NIPCO executives on Tuesday.
“Nigeria’s motorists can buy petrol at N1,000 per litre or equivalent gas per Standard Cubic Meter at N200.
Bayo Onanuga, the Presidential spokesman, quoted Tinubu as saying that incentives have been introduced for commercial motorists to switch from petrol to gas at no cost.
Tinubu recognized NIPCO’s crucial role in promoting CNG as an alternative fuel during the meeting.
Additionally, he stressed the importance of adopting CNG to reduce our dependence on petrol and lower fuel expenses for consumers.
