Machine Learning Engineering Manager (Remote)
Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor ML engineers, data scientists, and MLOps professionals.

Oversee the full lifecycle of ML and LLM projects — from data collection to deployment.

Collaborate with research, product, and infrastructure teams on goals and success metrics.

Direct technical decisions on large-scale model training, fine-tuning, and distributed systems.

Implement best practices in MLOps, CI/CD, model governance, and experiment tracking.

Manage compute budgets, resources, and ensure compliance with responsible AI standards.

Report progress, risks, and performance outcomes to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications

9+ years of experience in Machine Learning, NLP, and deep learning architectures (Transformers, LLMs).

Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or DeepSpeed.

Minimum of 2 years managing teams deploying ML/LLM models in production.

Strong understanding of distributed training, GPU/TPU optimization, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, or Vertex AI.

Excellent leadership, technical communication, and collaboration skills.

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field (PhD preferred).
