The Program Associate will play a key role in project management, ensuring that GiveWell’s portfolio of life-saving and poverty-alleviating programs runs efficiently. The role is ideal for candidates who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving global health outcomes through operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Program Associates will manage projects, coordinate research, and support grants across multiple programs. The major responsibilities include:

Project Management: Plan, organize, and monitor research and grantmaking activities. Maintain team trackers, timelines, and workflows.

Communication: Coordinate with researchers, external partners, and grantees. Write clear updates, meeting agendas, and project reports.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records, ensure data integrity, and manage files for transparency and collaboration.

Problem Solving: Identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and help streamline operations for maximum productivity.
