Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program Application Requirement
- Applicants should have 5-25 years of professional experience and impressive achievements at local, national, or global level. Most World Fellows are about 39, but anyone can join regardless of age.
- Applicants need to be citizens of any country except the US. If you have dual citizenship with the US, that’s cool, but they really prefer candidates who work outside the US.
- You need to speak English fluently. You need to know English really well to do well in the program.
- World Fellows have to be at Yale in New Haven the whole program, from mid-August to mid-December.

- You’ll gain a lot and help broaden Yale’s perspective.
- You gotta commit to a busy schedule, live on campus the whole time, and help out students and give talks.
Compensation Package
- They will give you a stipend to cover living expenses in New Haven, but you’ll have to pay taxes on it.
- A small, furnished apartment with one or two bedrooms for the program.
- Insurance for medical expenses
- Fees applicable to coming and going back to your home country.
How to Apply for Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program
To join the World Fellows Program, you fill out an online application. You don’t have to pay anything to apply.
Application deadline: December 4, 2024, at 1:00 PM
- You have until the deadline to work on your application and submit it whenever you’re good to go.
- Once you sign up and log in, you can upload your materials and ask for recommendation letters.
- To apply, you need to send a résumé (max 3 pages), a personal statement (max 1000 words), and three recommendation letters.
- You can also send us a short video statement. You’ll find detailed instructions in the online application once you make an account.
