The University of Western Australia is giving the Global Excellence Scholarships to top international students from all over the world who want to study with them.

If you want to study in Australia in 2024, undergrads can get scholarships up to AUD$48,000 for 4 years on certain courses or AUD$36,000 for 3 years.
If you are a postgrad student, you could get AUD$24,000 for eligible courses over two years.
Global Excellence Scholarship Award Details
The Global Excellence Scholarship gives discount on your tuition fees for the duration of your course. The Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or UWA weighted average mark (WAM) decides the amount you receive in this scholarship.
General Eligibility
Students from all countries are eligible. You will need to:
- have received an offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at The University of Western Australia
- have achieved an equivalent:
- minimum ATAR 85.00; or
- minimum WAM 65.00
- If studying an approved International Academic Pathway (Articulation Program), students must have achieved a WAM equivalent of more than 75.00
Undergraduate Eligibility
To be eligible to be considered for the scholarship, a candidate must be applying for an eligible undergraduate bachelor degree or Assured Pathway course. The following exclusions apply:
- Assured Pathway to Medicine
- Assured Pathway to Dental Medicine
Postgraduate eligibility
To be eligible to be considered for the scholarship, a candidate must be applying for an eligible postgraduate degree (by coursework). The following exclusions apply:
- Juris Doctor (20820)
- Doctor of Medicine (91850)
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (91860)
- Doctor of Optometry (91590)
- UWA Micro-credentials
Combined Bachelor’s & Master’s (CBM) Eligibility
All Combined Bachelor’s and Combined Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are eligible.
Most of these degrees take 4 years (8 semesters of full-time study), except for the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Commerce.
Eligible students will receive up to $60,000 over 5 years (yearly eligible amounts based on WAM).
