According to Statista, Meta’s average revenue per user (ARPU) in 2022 was about $40, hence, capturing 10 million users on Threads in just 24 hours could be tantamount to generating an additional $400 million in yearly revenue for Meta.

Of course, this is just an estimation, and Meta has already revealed that Threads would not be monetized, at least not this year.

But, these figures highlight the immense potential Threads holds in bolstering Meta’s already impressive financial performance.
