Women in Africa WIA Philanthropy is excited to announce the 4th edition of the WIA Young Leaders program, with the support of Dior, Lazard, KPMG, and TotalEnergies.
Ten (10) leaders will benefit from a special training program this year, all about women’s leadership and tomorrow’s skills.
They’ll have top mentors supporting them and get to go on an amazing business trip in a global city.
This trip will give them access to a top-notch professional network, training, meeting industry experts, and getting noticed at international events.
Selection Criteria for WIA Young Leaders Program
If you meet the following requirements, you can apply for the Women in Africa WIA Young Leaders Program
1) Women between 25 and 40 (experience level can make a difference)
2) If you were born in Africa or have African parents,
3) You have contributed to Africa’s development socially.
4) Leadership skills (humility, empathy and resilience)
You can also apply for the American Association of University Women AAUW Scholarship in USA.
5) They are particularly interested in candidates who have built their own success.
6) Vision of what Africa should be in the future.
7) Willingness to reconcile business conduct, social impact and public/private dialogue.
8) Ability to take on responsibilities at the highest level.
9) Strong convincing skills combined with a taste for teamwork.
10) Francophone, Anglophone, ideally bilingual.
There will be two phases for conducting the selection process.
- Selection based on file: 12 pre-finalists
- Interview with the jury: 10 selected leaders
