How to Pick the Right Phone Your budget gives you the amount of money you have. Your lifestyle should give you clues as to what phone to purchase. Here are some factors that I would consider before deciding. In case battery life is important When you spend a lot of time on WhatsApp, YouTube, TikTok, and mobile data, then you need a phone with not less than 5000mah. You need a big battery, efficient processor, and quick charging. If you value cameras Megapixels shouldn’t be your only measure of how great a camera is. You need to look into the camera system, image processing, low light performance, and video quality. Samsung phones win in this category. While other brand camera depreciates with time, Samsung phones camera retains its quality for years. If you like to play games Here performance becomes an issue. You need an efficient processor, enough RAM (4GB minimum), good display, and adequate cooling. A high refresh-rate screen (not less than 120Hz) is useful for games. If you want durability Look past the specifications of today. Check how many years software update and support you will receive. You should be looking at nothing less than 5 years of update and support. How to Avoid a Jumia Black Friday Phone Scam Big discount is not always indicative of good deal. There are some things that I should verify before I even hit "Buy now". Don't look for the biggest discount. 40% discount is not a guarantee that the phone is better than those who are offered with 15% discount. Just compare features and prices. Check the specific model and its technical characteristics. Sometimes two devices that sound alike can vary greatly in terms of technical characteristics. Verify the seller's rating and customer reviews as well as how many people have actually purchased this item. If anything sounds strange, I would prefer not to purchase it. Examine the product’s warranty and return policy, especially if you plan to shell out a large sum of naira on the phone. Double-check that the item is at the right price before purchasing. Note that prices, deals, and stock are subject to change on the Jumia Black Friday event page. Therefore, you might not necessarily pay what you see initially. What you need is not the best discount price, but the phone that fits your work, so you don't need another one next black friday. Which Jumia Black Friday Phone Should You Choose? Having analyzed all these models, I would not recommend you to opt for the most expensive phone. You should consider your budget and your needs. The Best Under ₦200,000: Infinix Hot 70. A good choice for those who value battery life, a great display, and entertainment. The Best Under ₦400,000: Redmi Note 15. A suitable option for users who wish to have numerous advanced features but are not ready to pay a lot. The Best Under ₦700,000: Samsung Galaxy A57. An option worth considering when you prefer Samsung phones but need some additional premium. The Best Under ₦1 Million: OPPO Reno 15F 5G. A suitable option when you pay attention to design, cameras and performance. The Best Under ₦2 Million: Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. A great choice if you prioritize cameras above all other characteristics. However, I would make sure to check the live listing on the website first because black Friday deals, stocks and discounts can be changed very fast.
