So, the Nigerian government decided they needed a modern air force to make their military stronger.
The Government gave the go-ahead for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in early 1962.

Nigerian AirForce BMTC Recruitment Requirements
You need to be at least 18 years old and not above 22 years old to apply for the Nigerian Airforce BMTC Recruitment exercise.
The age rule doesn’t apply to Medical Consultants (25-40 years) and Chaplains/Imams (20-32 years).
This list is almost the same as the Nigerian AirForce DSSC requirements except for the difference in degree requested.
1) Nationality: You should be a Nigerian citizen by birth, and it is mandatory you provide a valid means of identification as proof.
2) Bank Verification: In order to proceed, the portal will request your Bank Verification Number [BVN].
3) Height Requirements: Guys need to be at least 1.65m tall, and ladies need to be at least 1.63m.
4) O level Result: It’s important to have at least five credits in relevant subjects, including English and Math.
5) Medical Fitness: Prior to applying, it is necessary you confirm your medical fitness.
6) Relationship Status: It is mandatory that your single and not pregnant (females) before you proceed with the BMTC application process.
7) After applying, print out:
- Acknowledgment slip,
- Attestation of Parent / Guardians Form, and
- Local Government Area Attestation Form
