Dear Friend,
You reach a point where you realize you can’t build the life you want with the same old habits, people, comfort zone, and mindset that got you here.
That realisation is not always exciting. Sometimes, it is painful.
I watched a video yesterday about why the Earth revolves around the sun. It was mind-blowing.
You’re seeing that some things you like are getting in the way of the person you want to be.
Some conversations leave you feeling empty. Some friendships keep you comfortable but not growing.
There are habits that seem fine until you add up what they’ve cost you over five years.
And then there are opportunities that take you far away from your assignment.
It’s sad how we rarely talk about this. It is easy to discuss what we have gained when we meet. But we don’t talk about what we need to outgrow.
If you want to build a great company, you might need to stop acting like you’re only responsible for yourself.
If you want results that last, you may have to become comfortable with long periods when nobody is watching.
And if financial freedom is your goal, you may have to stop deciding for appearances.
If you want peace, you may have to disappoint people who benefited from your lack of boundaries.
Growth is strange that way. It’s never first about adding more but about removing more.
I am learning to be more intentional. I don’t want to collect achievements while losing myself. I don’t want to be busy because it makes me feel important.
My goal is to build a life that feels genuine and purposeful, not just one that looks good on the outside. I want to build something I can respect. From business, body, reputation, and life.
And I have realised all requires the courage to choose and not look back.
Because every yes is a vote for something. And every no is a sacrifice for something else.
I want to sacrifice only for the life I want.
See you tomorrow, God willing.
